CM Student Scholarships

2021-2022 Application- Closed

Cal Poly and the Construction Management Department have a variety of scholarships available. The Financial Aid Office can help you with scholarships as well as information on grants and loans. The types and amounts of aid Cal Poly awards or recommends are subject to availability of funds, enrollment status, and financial need. Programs vary in eligibility criteria, award amounts, and repayment options. For more detailed information go to the Financial Aid Office web site.

There are scholarships available through the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. For information about these scholarships go to the CAED Scholarships web page.

CM Scholarship Opportunities

The scholarships available through the Construction Management Department are listed below. The department receives numerous scholarship opportunities from companies or organizations related to the construction industry. These scholarships are divided into two types: Outside Scholarships and Departmental Scholarships

Outside Scholarships:

These are scholarships that are offered to any student on any campus who meets certain Construction Management based criteria. Often times these are local or statewide organizations who contact us and want to promote their scholarship. We send these scholarships out via e-mail as they come in to the department. If you feel you have missed these e-mails, you can see Jenay Reynolds-Sibbach in the CM office.

Departmental Scholarships:

These are scholarships that are available to Cal Poly Construction Management students only. The department oversees the application, collection, and disbursement of these scholarships. The department has a working relationship with the donors and makes sure that their criteria are met.

To date, the Construction Management offers over $100,000 in annual scholarships to its majors. Below is a list of the scholarships that have been given out in previous years.
