Job Description:

The following description for Construction Project Coordinator is not meant to be restrictive, but to generally outline duties and responsibilities.

 

Reports to:  Director of Construction

 

Objective: Work directly with Director of Construction. Oversee all permitting and plan tracking/management.  Track schedules, coordinate with WCP staff and trades.  Coordinate with Architects, Engineers and city staff to efficiently process building plans.  Others Duties as defined below.

 

Responsibilities:             As outlined below.

 

Monday – Friday:  7am – 4pm or as needed.

Construction Project Coordination

 

OFFICE WORK

  • Permitting
    • Responsible for all submittals
    • Track all city comments and responses from consultants
    • Track all redlines and send out summary to purchasing and trades as necessary
    • Pay all fees and manage all check requests
    • Review lot specific sets for accurate plan type, elevation and color schemes
  • Review all plot plans to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate between Director and Field staff on any current and future project needs.
  • Assist with and Monitor Variance Purchase Orders, Change Orders, contracts and scope of work.
  • Track Project Schedules
  • Track lot files and help manage cut offs
  • Make sure supers have all correct paper work
  • Periodic review of buyer options installed in field
  • Manage final documentation of all reports for building finals

FIELD RESPOSIBILITES

  • Work with Supers to deliver weekly schedules to all trades and staff
  • Manage field qc reporting
  • Help manage swppp needs along with supers
  • Assist supers with QC
  • Help front and back end where needed; if we need help punching a house this would be part of this role; if we need help walking houses on front end this would be part of the job
  • Assist in filed as needed when on site personal is on PTO
  • Assist customer service as needed in the field. 
  • Review scopes of work with supers and staff as needed
  • Weekly agendas for on site meetings
  • Help walk and punch models as needed
