Precision Hydro is searching for a motivated and goal-oriented Project Manager to join our highly respected team in the Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area. In this position you will ensure adherence to project and budgetary specifications, establish policies and procedures, and coordinate teams while supporting our strategic intent and safety practices. Role and Responsibilities
Business Development
Participates in weekly Biz Dev Meetings for updates and to share potential opportunities, maintains communications with clients, ensure strategic partner relationships (i.e., vendors, inspectors, and government officials)
Job Scoping
Maintain processes throughout the project lifecycle, perform risk management, ensure resource availability and allocation, document a detailed project plan and track progress (using Microsoft Project, Gantt Chart, or similar software), and use verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
Pre-Production Planning
Develop a budget based on project scope and customer billing requirements, coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects, ensure third party/vendor qualifications for quality and risk assurance, maintain communication with leadership, teams, and customers
Production Execution
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget, assign and manage resources (both internal and third parties) to streamline project efficiency, report project outcomes and/or risks and escalate issues, maintain comprehensive project documentation, facilitate communication between customers, field, office, and management.
Closing Process
Ensure the project is delivered to stakeholders’ satisfaction, reconcile job performance, deliver final billing and obtain Notice of Completion, conduct post-project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, complete administrative tasks associated with project close out.
General and Administrative
Define roles and responsibilities, facilitate hiring, onboarding, performance management, and periodic reviews of support personnel, cost code and approve Budgeted and Non-Budgeted invoices for payment, and ensure timely execution and delivery of quarterly incentive programs.
Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the fields of Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering or Construction Management); PMP / PRINCE II certification a plus

Proficient experience in project management with technical understanding or hands-on experience in the construction industry, 5+ years preferred

Experience in creating and adhering to project budgets

Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and analytical skills to identify risks.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Gantt Chart, or similar software)

Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

Experience coaching and educating production teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
