Job Description:

 

MFA is looking to host a summer intern on the development team in San Francisco. This internship will introduce the incumbent to the development process, and particularly to the responsibilities of an entry-level analyst, including the gathering and analyzing of data and the preparation of financial analyses, budgets, and reports to support the management of development projects.

The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with commercial and residential real estate analysis, including financial modeling using Excel, as well as strong research and presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Key Skills:

·         Understanding of Real Estate, Finance and Capital Market concepts / terminology

·         Experience with Microsoft office

·         Strong qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills

·         Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

·         Ability to work independently and manage priorities

·         Ability to work in high paced, dynamic and collaborative environment

·         Good interpersonal skills – Ambition – Integrity - Team Player

·         Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form

Prerequisites:

·         College student pursing a BA/BS (Business, Real Estate, Economics or Finance a plus)

·         Real Estate and Construction Management students a plus
