Job Description:
Via Avanti is a premier mixed use multifamily residential development in Sherman Oaks, California and will offer 325 apartments and over 36K SF of retail. Citrus Commons is a premier mixed use multifamily residential development in Sherman Oaks, California and will offer 249 units and 27K SF of retail and 146K SF of office space.
The Assistant Superintendent will:
- Assist the Superintendent to oversee the construction of Via Avanti and Citrus Commons, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
- Monitor progress of construction projects and report on any delays or issues to management.
- Will assist creating budgets and obtain subcontractor proposals
- Create and maintain project schedules on a daily basis through ProCore, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Prepare for weekly subcontractor meetings
- Prepare and manage RFI’s through ProCore
- Work with office project manager support team
- Ensure that all work complies with building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure that construction plans are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

- College degree in Construction Management or equivalent
- Jobsite experience
- Thorough understanding of construction best practices and ability to follow plans and specifications
- Exemplary leadership and decision-making skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ProCore
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to delete and negotiate
- Positive attitude and creative problem-solving skills
- Active and Valid driver license is required

- Pay - $65,000 - $80,000/yr depending upon skills and experiences related to the role
