Job Description:
Vertex Survey, Inc., a professional land surveying company, has operated for over 20 years out of offices in Santa Clarita, and has work projects across Los Angeles and other counties in Southern California. We are a tight-knit group with little turnover and need to add to our corporate team due to growth. We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor / Mapper to join our corporate team. This is a full-time office position with a starting pay range between $100K-$165K, and includes medical, dental, and 401K benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mapping projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, control surveys, land descriptions, and subdivision mapping for both public and private land development.
- Supervise and guide both office and field staff involved in survey tasks. • Responsible for signing and sealing survey documents • Ensure quality control for your team's projects Skills
- In-Depth understanding of local surveying laws, techniques, principles, and safety procedures
- Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar tools.
Education and Experience
A Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in California is preferred, but not required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
