Harris Construction is a top general contractor and construction
management firm, founded in 1914, that builds state-of-the-art
facilities in the Public Sector. Our focus is on building
large-scale educational complexes and civic facilities with
assured cohesive craftsmanship and management through every step
of the construction process. We are a proud builder for the
Central Valley and have continued our good name on the Central
Coast. We are now looking for student interns to participate in
our upcoming projects in the San Luis Obispo/Paso Robles area.
Harris Construction holds 16-week internships based in the Fall,
Spring, and Summer for both Project and Field Engineer interns.
At the start of the internship program, Harris Construction will
hold a four-day training at our Fresno office and surrounding
project sites to give an overview of procedures and practices.
The training will cover Project documentation, specifications,
scheduling, and more.
A Harris Construction Internship is built to allow Construction
Management students the experience of real-time responsibilities
and hurdles brought on by an active construction site. The
expectation is for the student to assist in managing our projects
from the job trailer. Our goal at Harris Construction is for
every project to better a community and exceed a project
owner’s expectations. Continue reading below to see if an
