Job Description:

• Seeking a friendly and talented person to join our team as an Assistant PM or Project Engineer depending on experience!
• We are a third-generation, family-oriented business that has been building the highest quality custom homes in the North Bay and San Francisco since 1950. Our reputation is built on delivering an extremely high-quality product while making the construction process streamlined and stress free for our clients, and always standing by our work long after warranties have expired. Our current team consists of 6 Project managers, 4 accounting and admin staff, and roughly 40 full-time Union Carpenters. We have a light and fun environment, believe in taking care of our employees over maximizing profits, and encourage a healthy work/life balance.  We pride ourselves on implementing new technologies in both the field and office and expect all team members to grow with the company. We foster a culture of true craftsmanship and our carpenters, many of whom have been with the company for decades, are among the best in the industry.
• In order to meet our expectations as an APM or PE you must be courteous and professional, friendly, well organized, dependable, proficient with computers and related technologies (Microsoft preferred, MacOS acceptable), possess general knowledge of project management and building techniques, understand construction documents and processes, and/or be eager to learn. Tasks would include general assistance to Project Managers, making field visits, collaborating with the PM and Superintendent to track and draft change orders, assist the PM in contacting, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors, develop and maintain daily logs and two-week lookaheads, and miscellaneous tasks as needed. We are looking for a motivated candidate who is local to the North Bay and willing to learn and grow. Responsibilities will vary depending on experience and the goal is for this position to eventually grow into a Project Management role. • Our work consists of everything from small maintenance and repairs to $10-million and up custom home construction and remodels. Compensation will be highly competitive and depend on experience. Medical benefits are provided, and a company vehicle may be provided for the right candidate.
