Job Description:
We are looking for a experienced (3 years or more) Using Autodesk, PartnerPak, and GlazierStudio software. The Lead Drafter, Fabricator, works in concert with the operations team by producing quality construction shop drawings, fabrication models, and accurate ‘saw-ready’ fabrication output files.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create and revise project shop drawings (in-house or coordinate with 3rd party drafter). Coordinate with 3rd party engineer when required.
· Independently draft documents when provided with verbal or written instruction by Project Management team.
· Maintain high quality standards using sound drafting principles.
· Coordinate requested changes with Project Engineers and Project Managers.
· Generate fabrication models via AGI specific (PartnerPak & GlazierStudio) order and fabrication software.
· Provide accurate (R2) order models that match approved shop drawings.
· Update (R2) order models to (R3) final fabrication drawings.
· Additional duties as assigned
· Create accurate fabrication models (PartnerPak & GlazierStudio) from field measurements.
· Create accurate secondary fabrication layouts for ‘saw-ready’ output files.
MEASUREMENT AND PERFORMANCE:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
· Strong knowledge of drafting concepts and practices.
· Must have strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
· Associate degree, or higher, in construction related field.
· AutoCAD Drafting Certification preferred.
