Job Description:
Position Overview
- Vance Brown Builders is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our project management teams. As an intern, you will work directly under the mentorship of a Project Engineer (PE) to learn the technical and administrative foundations of the construction industry. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in ensuring project quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a motivated and individual eager to learn and develop as a construction professional on our team who could be developed over a summer or two of internships and then join our team full-time upon graduation.
Learning & Support Responsibilities
Under the guidance of a Project Engineer, the intern will assist with:
- Document Control: Learning to initialize and maintain project document logs, including RFIs, submittals, and drawings.
- Field Documentation: Creating and maintaining a file of jobsite progress photos and assisting with site safety documentation
- Project Coordination: Shadowing the PE to learn how to collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers to identify critical long-lead items.
- Project Closeout: Assisting the team with the punchlist process and assembling operating and maintenance manuals.
