DFI Enterprises: Part-Time Inspectors’ Intern

Job Description:
 

• Assist the IOR in monitoring construction activities for compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes as defined in the 2025 California Administrative Code, Title 24, Part 1, Chapter 7-144.
• Observe and document daily construction activities.
• Support preparation and maintenance of inspection reports, discrepancy logs, and project documentation.
• Help track and organize RFI’s (Requests for Information), submittals, and amended construction documents.
• Assist in verifying that materials and workmanship meet project and regulatory standards.
• Attend jobsite meetings, including coordination and safety meetings, and take notes as needed.
• Communicate updates between leadership, vendors, and team members.
• Maintain organized project files in both digital and physical formats.
• Assist with photo documentation and recordkeeping.
• Perform general administrative support tasks as applicable for the inspection team.
