What Is CMAA About?

Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) is the premiere Construction Management club at Cal Poly. We are directly affiliated with CMAA which happens to be the only organization in North America with over 7,300 active members. We are open to all majors who are interested in learning more about the intricacies of this diverse field. We pride ourselves in the ability to connect our members with local as well as large national Construction Management companies. Our bi-monthly meeting will be hosted by a Construction Management company that will focus in on a specific topic such as BIM, LEED, and conflict resolutions. The perk of membership is the opportunity to take a certification test, if passed, awards you the title of Construction Manager In Training (CMIT.) Currently this certification test is reserved for the CMAA Executive Board.
