Biography

Raised in the Central Valley attending Modesto Junior College before transferring to Cal Poly. Double majored in Construction Management and Architecture. Owned an architectural and construction firm designing and building spec homes and custom homes. Returned to Cal Poly in the early 1990’s and obtained an MBA, worked for a design-build firm in Park City, UT in the mid-90’s, entered a Ph.D. program in the late 90’s at Colorado State. Began teaching at Cal Poly since September or 1999.
