Bio

After leaving High School to found a construction company in 2004, Dan operates/d a full service remodeling, underground utility, and site work Construction Company. Having operated and built the company Dan returned to school while operating the business to obtain a B.S. and M.S. in accounting from Walden University then obtaining a Juris Doctorate from the Santa Barbara Colleges of law. After completion of degrees Dan took and passed the California Real Estate Brokers’ Exam first try, and took and passed the California Bar Exam first try. Dan is currently taking the Certified Public Accounting exam and hopes to add the CPA license to his credentials by January 2018.

With a specific focus on Construction Law, Construction Accounting, and Real Estate Development, Dan takes his academic and real world experience and brings it to study at Cal Poly. In addition to lecturing he manages the construction business and provides legal and expert witness services in San Luis Obispo County and State Wide. As a San Luis Obispo native, he is married with two children and enjoys playing squash.
