About the Construction Management Advisory Council (CMAC)
The Construction Management Advisory Council (CMAC) is a self-governing association that works to promote increased alumni involvement, provide additional avenues of interaction with the department, and strengthen connections with industry practitioners. These connections support student internships, participation in national competitions, alumni mentoring, and hands on experience in the field. As CMAC continues to grow, so do the learning experiences available to both industry members and Construction Management students.
As an independent entity CMAC is governed by a Board of Directors serving a larger general membership base. Through semi-annual Board meetings and participation on sub-committees, CMAC members help to influence the Cal Poly Construction Management Department from curriculum assessment to regional events.
