Meet and Greet

The California Center for Construction Education (CCCE) works on behalf of its construction management students and alumni to provide networking and recruitment opportunities that leads to greater employment opportunities within numerous construction industry fields. This robust, internal recruiting program gives industry recruiters a chance to interact with Cal Poly CM students throughout the academic year. All majors and class levels are encouraged to get involved with our recruiting program, although the focus of the program is to get CM Majors and Minors connected to internships while they are students and full-time positions upon graduation.

Info Sessions are designed for a single company to present its company culture and employment opportunities to Construction Management students within a 50-min presentation, followed by next-day interviews. The CCCE coordinates approximately forty nightly Info Sessions per quarter which run Monday through Thursday starting at 6:10pm and Thursdays at 11:10am during University Hour.

Meet and Greet sessions are designed for a single company to educate Construction Management students about employment opportunities and company culture in a casual afternoon 2-hour open house setting, followed by next-day interviews.  Meet and Greets, another part of the Construction Management Department’s vast recruitment program, are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:10am to 1:00pm during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.
